Physical and chemical properties

Molecular formula: KBF4　 Molecular weight:125.90 White granular crystal; slightly soluble in water and hot ethanol, insoluble in cold ethanol, insoluble in alkaline solution; can be decomposed into boron trifluoride by strongly acid; and eutectic with alkali metal carbonate to generate fluoride and borate.

Product uses

Used as analytical reagents and fluxes, also for the production of boron trifluoride, as the aluminum and magnesium casting mold, and for electrochemical engineering and chemical testing.
